Dr. Diane Spada

Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Marietta College before she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University. Diane lives in beautiful British Columbia. Currently, she enjoys providing comprehensive eye care to families at Envision Optometry in South Surrey, BC. Being a proud mother of three children, she enjoys seeing families and children of all ages. Outside the clinic, Diane enjoys dancing, tennis, pilates and gardening.

Dr.Jason Lau

Completed a Specialized Microbiology degree from the University of Alberta and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York in New York City. Dr. Lau completed his residency at various ocular disease centers and these experiences have allowed him to have a genuine interest in the management of glaucoma and other oculo-systemic disorders. He currently resides in Vancouver with his wife and two daughters. In his off time he enjoys hockey, music, and spending quality time with his family.

Dr.Jessy Manhas

Was raised in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Dr. Manhas moved to Vancouver and received his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. He has been practicing optometry in the lower mainland of BC since 2003 and is happily married with two daughters and one son. In his free time he enjoys golf, tennis, hockey, and traveling the world.

Dr. Dharminder Dhanda

Was born in India and raised in British Columbia. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and then went on to earn his medical degree and residency from the University of Western Ontario. After completing his Vitreoretinal Fellowship at the University of Toronto, he returned to the lower mainland of BC to practice. He lives in Vancouver with his wife and two daughters. In his off time Dr.Dhanda loves to ski, Rollerblade, and travel as often as he can.

Don Wolfe

A successful businessman in British Columbia. Originally from Jamaica, Don works with Eyes for the World to liaise with the local Jamaican community to plan and execute the eye health mission.

George Piprah

Grew up in Ghana and immigrated to Canada in 1977 where he completed his MBA at the University of British Columbia and became a Certified General Accountant. He established a successful company and earned a title as Honorary Consul General to BC for Ghana. George established Foundation for African Children’s Education (FACE), a not for profit organization providing children the tools they need to learn. He works with Eyes for the World to liaise with the local Ghanaian community and set up the eye health missions.
